City Council Regular Meeting Minutes

A regular meeting of the Lenox City Council was called to order by Mayor Douglas on July 27, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall with the following council members answering roll call: Peterson, Huffman, Tull, Hodges and Beck. Staff present was City Administrator, Allison Kitzman and City Clerk, Dawne Bowman. Visitors at the meeting were Colleen Larimer, Shari Burger and George Pryor.

Tull made a motion to approve the agenda, seconded by Hodges, all ayes, motion carried.

Hodges made a motion to approve 7/13/26 regular meeting minutes, seconded by Beck, all ayes, motion carried. Tull made a motion to approve payment of the bills, seconded by Peterson, all ayes, motion carried.

Shari Burger presented the council with the Annual Library Report.

Peterson made a motion to approve FY26 Outstanding Obligation Report, seconded by Hodges, all ayes, motion carried.

Community Center Roof will be on the next agenda, as there are quotes that still have not came in.

Peterson made a motion to approve Re-appointment of Rob Lundquist and Linda Hogan to the Lenox Neighborhood Center Board for term of 2 years, expiring August 2028, seconded by Tull, all ayes, motion carried.

Beck made a motion to approve Resolution 26-28 Setting Yearly Mileage Reimbursement Rate of $.76, seconded by Hodges, all ayes, motion carried.

Tull motioned to adjourn the meeting, Beck seconded, all ayes, motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 5:55 PM.
