CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES

November 25, 2024 - 5:30 p.m. - City Hall

A regular meeting of the Lenox City Council was called to order by Mayor ProTem Tull on November 25, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall with the following council members answering roll call: Tull, Hodges and Cruz; Peterson and Nelson were absent. Staff present was City Administrator, Allison Kitzman and City Clerk, Dawne Bowman, with visitor, Colleen Larimer.

Hodges made a motion to approve the agenda, seconded by Cruz, all ayes, motion carried.

At 5:30 PM Cruz opened the Public Hearing Regarding Sale of City Owned Property at 205 South Walnut Street, seconded by Hodges. There were no comments heard from the public. Tull motioned to close the Public Hearing, seconded by Hodges, all ayes, motion carried.

Hodges made a motion to approve 11/12/24 meeting minutes, seconded by Cruz, all ayes, motion carried. Hodges made a motion to approve payment of the bills, seconded by Cruz, all ayes, motion carried.

Tull opened the sealed bid for the City Owned Property at 205 South Walnut Street from Travis Knox in the amount of $2,500.00.

Hodges made a motion to approve Resolution 24- 47 Regarding Sale of City Owned Property at 205 South Walnut Street to Travis Knox in the amount of $2,500.00, seconded by Cruz. Roll call votes- all ayes, motion carried.

Cruz made a motion to approve Resolution 24- 48 Establishing Wage for Dylan Douglas, seconded by Hodges, all ayes, motion carried. Kitzman stated the wage is $24.00 per hour and will begin December 2, 2024.

Kitzman discussed Printer Lease with Visual Edge IT, as our current lease will expire in March 2025. Visual Edge IT would like to buy out our remaining lease and upgrade our printer to a Kyocera, as they are discontinuing the Lanier, which we currently lease. The new lease is for 63 months and the average cost of this would be $197.18/month, pending overage on copies. Cruz made a motion to lease Kyocera printer from Visual Edge IT, seconded by Hodges, all ayes, motion carried.

Hodges made a motion to approve Resolution 24- 49 Lenox Municipal Utilities Budget for 2025, seconded by Cruz, all ayes, motion carried.

Kitzman discussed Utility Billing Contract with Tyler Technologies, as it was approved at the last meeting that due to the dollar amount, we would be hosting the software. Since then, Tyler Technologies approved a waiver to allow them to host the software, which decreased the price of the fee for conversion, but increased the annual fees for them hosting. The new contract price is $26,019 for the set- up and $8,838 for the recurring fees.

Hodges motioned to adjourn the meeting, Cruz seconded, all ayes, motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 5:45 PM.
