CITY OF LENOX

A regular meeting of the Lenox City Council was called to order by Mayor Douglas on October 10, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall with the following council members answering roll call: Bowman, Nelson, Zabel and Cruz; Tull was absent. Staff present were City Clerk, Dawne Bowman and City Administrator, Allison Kitzman. Visitors attending were Colleen Larimer and Deputy Lynn.

Bowman made a motion to approve the agenda, seconded by Cruz, all ayes, motion carried. Zabel made a motion to approve 09/26/22 meeting minutes, seconded by Bowman, all ayes, motion carried. Cruz made a motion to approve the payment of bills, seconded by Zabel, all ayes, motion carried. Zabel made a motion to approve September 2022 Clerk Treasurer Report, seconded by Bowman, all ayes, motion carried.

Bowman made a motion to approve reappointment of Jeanine Lynam to the Zoning Board for a term of 5 years, ending 10/2027, seconded by Cruz, all ayes, motion carried.

Kitzman discussed FY22 Exam results and the findings. Segregation of duties and expenditures from the gas exceeded the budget amount prior to an amendment being done, due to the increased cost of wholesale gas.

Zabel made a motion to approve Change Order #1 for 2022 Street Improvement Project in the amount of $3,121.72 seconded by Bowman, motion carried. Kitzman discussed the changed orders.

Bowman made a motion to approve Pay Application #2 for 2022 Street Improvement Project in the amount of $14,398.33 seconded by Cruz, all ayes, motion carried.

Deputy Lynn had nothing to report.

Cruz motioned to adjourn the meeting, Nelson seconded, all ayes, motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 6:00 P.M.
