CITY OF LENOX

A regular meeting of the Lenox City Council was called to order by Mayor Douglas on July 11, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall with the following council members answering roll call: Bowman, Nelson, Tull, Zabel and Cruz. Staff present was City Administrator, Allison Kitzman and City Clerk, Dawne Bowman.

Bowman made a motion to approve the agenda, seconded by Cruz, all ayes, motion carried. Nelson made a motion to approve 06/27/22 meeting minutes, seconded by Tull, all ayes, motion carried. Tull made a motion to approve the payment of bills, seconded by Nelson, all ayes, motion carried. Zabel made a motion to approve June 2022 Clerk Treasurer Report, seconded by Cruz, all ayes, motion carried.

Bowman motioned to approve Resolution 22- 33 To Participate in the Planning and Development of the Southern Iowa Council of Governments, seconded by Nelson, all ayes, motion carried.

Tull made a motion to approve Amended Water Purchase Contract between Southern Iowa Rural Water Association and City of Lenox, seconded by Bowman, all ayes, motion carried. Kitzman discussed current contract to purchase water from SIRWA is not set to expire until 2027; however, with the new water project loan, USDA is requiring a new contract.

Zabel made a motion to approve Dally Post Temporary Outdoor Service Class C Liquor License Amendment, seconded by Nelson, all ayes, motion carried. This amendment will include the street dance area.

Zabel approve Special Events Permit for Rodeo Parade, seconded by Tull, all ayes, motion carried.

Cruz motioned to adjourn the meeting, Nelson seconded, all ayes, motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 5:40 P.M.
