CITY OF LENOX

A regular meeting of the Lenox City Council was called to order by Mayor ProTem Bowman on April 25, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall with the following council members answering roll call: Bowman, Tull, Zabel and Cruz; Nelson was absent. Staff present was City Administrator, Allison Kitzman and City Clerk, Dawne Bowman. Colleen Larimer was also present.

Tull made a motion to approve the agenda, seconded by Cruz, all ayes, motion carried. Zabel made a motion to approve 04/11/22 meeting minutes, seconded by Tull, all ayes, motion carried. Zabel made a motion to approve the payment of bills, seconded by Tull, all ayes, motion carried.

Zabel made a motion to approve Resolution 22- 24 ISSB Investment CD's Renewal, seconded by Cruz, all ayes, motion carried. Kitzman mentioned these are 5 CD's that will be renewed for 12 months at 40% APY and one CD, the City Buildings CD, will be cashed out to put toward library repairs.

Tull made a motion to approve Resolution 22- 25 Transfer of Investments to General Account for Library Repairs, seconded by Zabel, all ayes, motion carried. Kitzman added that this would include transferring $100,000 from General Reserve Money Market for library repairs and cashing out the City Buildings CD.

Zabel made a motion to approve Resolution 22- 26 Transfer Funds from General Account to Neighborhood Center, seconded by Tull, all ayes, motion carried. Kitzman discussed the City previously approving $5,000 to the Neighborhood Center for their new building pending the Taylor County Endowment Grant. The grant was received and the building has been purchased.

Zabel motioned to adjourn the meeting, Tull seconded, all ayes, motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 5:38 P.M.
