CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES

October 11, 2021 - 5:30 p.m. - City Hall

A regular meeting of the Lenox City Council was called to order by Mayor ProTem Bowman on October 11, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall with the following council members answering roll call: Bowman, Brown, Tull, Zabel and Cruz. Staff present was City Clerk, Dawne Bowman.

Tull made a motion to approve the agenda, seconded by Brown, all ayes, motion carried. Brown made a motion to approve 09/28/21 meeting minutes, seconded by Zabel, all ayes, motion carried. Brown made a motion to approve the payment of bills, seconded by Cruz, all ayes, motion carried. Brown made a motion to approve September 2021 Clerk Treasurer Report, seconded by Tull, all ayes, motion carried.

A discussion was held on library repairs. Bowman reported that the engineers have agreed to split the cost of changing the blue color for a cost of $1,985. This would also include the back wall. Brown made a motion to approve the cost of $1,985 to change the blue color to the dark gray that is currently around the windows, seconded by Cruz, all ayes, motion carried.

Brown made a motion to approve Ramsey's Market Cigarette/Tobacco/Nicotine/Vapor Permit, seconded by Tull, all ayes, motion carried.

Tull made a motion to approve Resolution 21- 40 Authorizing Payment to Lenox Development Corporation in the amount of $1,171.50 for LDC School Lane Subdivision Project Expenses, seconded by Brown, all ayes, motion carried.

Zabel made a motion to approve Resolution 21- 41 Setting Public Hearing for November 8, 2021 at 5:30 for Proposed Adoption of 28E Agreement with City of Prescott to Provide Natural Gas Services, seconded by Brown, all ayes, motion carried.

Brown made a motion to approve Resolution 21- 42 Setting Public Hearing for November 8, 2021 at 5:45 for 2021 Urban Renewal Amendment and Dalton Ag Enterprises, Inc. Agreement and Tax Increment Payments, seconded by Tull. Roll call votes- all ayes, motion carried.

Brown motioned to adjourn the meeting, Tull seconded, all ayes, motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 5:46 P.M.
