CITY OF LENOX

A regular meeting of the Lenox City Council was called to order by Mayor Douglas on May 24, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall with the following council members answering roll call: Bowman, Brown, Tull, Zabel and Cruz. Staff present was City Administrator, Allison Kitzman and City Clerk, Dawne Bowman. Colleen Larimer was also present.

Brown made a motion to approve the agenda, seconded by Cruz, all ayes, motion carried. Brown made a motion to approve 05/10/21 meeting minutes, seconded by Tull, all ayes, motion carried. Tull made a motion to approve the payment of bills, seconded by Brown, all ayes, motion carried.

Kitzman discussed the lifeguard pay and the starting wages of other employers in Lenox, as well as the wages of surrounding towns guard and manager wages. Bowman made a motion to approve $8.50 as the 2021 wage for returning guards, Camryn Douglas, Kayla Yzaguire and Cassandra Padilla, seconded by Zabel, all ayes, motion carried. This is due to these guards would be making approximately the same wage as new guards and have been with the pool for at least 4 years.

Tull made a motion to re- appoint Cody Adams and Heather Samo to the Park/Pool/Rec Board for a term of 2 years, ending 6/2023, seconded by Brown, all ayes, motion carried.

Deputy Lynn entered the meeting at 5:47.

Zabel made a motion to approve Resolution 21- 17 to Set Public Hearing for 6/14/21 at 5:30PM for Application for Voluntary Annexation for Tripp Homes, seconded by Brown, all ayes, motion carried.

Deputy Lynn mentioned the department had been picking up dogs and taking them to the vet.

Brown moved to adjourn the meeting, Tull seconded, all ayes, motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 6:15 P.M.
