CITY OF LENOX

A regular meeting of the Lenox City Council was called to order by Mayor Douglas on August 24, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall with the following council members answering roll call: Brown, Bowman, Tull, Zabel and Cruz. Staff present was City Administrator, Allison Kitzman and City Clerk, Dawne Bowman. Shari Burger and Colleen Larimer were also present.

Bowman made a motion to approve the agenda, seconded by Cruz, all ayes, motion carried. Brown made a motion to approve 08/10/20 meeting minutes, seconded by Tull, all ayes, motion carried. Bowman made a motion to approve the payment of the bills, seconded by Brown, all ayes, motion carried.

Shari Burger presented the council with the annual library report.

Brown made a motion to approve Resolution 20- 27 Street Financial Report FY 19/20, seconded by Zabel, all ayes, motion carried.

Kitzman discussed the GASB 77 letter that were sent out to SWCC, City of Lenox, Lenox Community School, and Taylor County. These letters state how much revenue was diverted due to our TIF districts.

Brown made a motion to approve Verdin Post Clock for Main Street Pocket Park project in the amount of $13,336, seconded by Cruz, all ayes, motion carried.

Bowman made a motion to set Public Hearing on Proposed Disposition and Transfer of Real Estate for 9/14/20 at 5:45 PM, all ayes, motion carried.

Zabel made a motion to approve 36- month lease for JD Gator for Golf Course, seconded by Tull, all ayes, motion carried.

Brown made a motion to approve Cafe Sign Floral and Gift Class B Native Wine permit, seconded by Zabel, all ayes, motion carries.

Brown made a motion to approve CDBG draw request #9 to Precious People Learning Center in the amount of $13,157, seconded by Tull, all ayes, motion carried.

Brown moved to adjourn the meeting, Cruz seconded, all ayes, motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 6:10 P.M.
