City Council Regular Meeting Minutes
October 22, 2018 · 5:30 p.m. · City Hall
A regular meeting of the Lenox City Council was called to order by Mayor Douglas on October 22, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall with the following council members answering roll call: Bowman, Vogel, Borland and Custer; Ramsey was absent at this time. Staff present was City Administrator, Allison Kitzman and City Clerk, Dawne Bowman. Other visitors were Deputy Calfee and Colleen Larimer.
Bowman made a motion to approve the agenda, seconded by Borland, all ayes, motion carried.
Borland made a motion to approve 10/8/18 meeting minutes, seconded by Custer, all ayes, motion carried. Bowman made a motion to approve the payment of the bills, seconded by Vogel, all ayes, motion carried. Vogel made a motion to approve September 2018 Clerk Treasurer Report, seconded by Custer, all ayes, motion carried.
Kitzman discussed the natural gas discount program and agreement with PEFA, Inc. It was noted that this is of no obligation or no risk to the City of Lenox.
Ramsey entered the meeting at 5:37 PM.
Custer made a motion to approve Resolution 18-37 Authorizing the Purchase of Natural Gas from PEFA, Inc., seconded by Bowman, all ayes, motion carried.
Custer made a motion to approve Execution and Delivery of a Gas Supply Agreement and Other Documents Relating to Said Purchase, seconded by Bowman, all ayes, motion carried.
Custer made a motion to approve the Issuance of Bonds by PEFA. Inc. and Addressing Related Matters, seconded by Borland, all ayes, motion carried.
Bowman made a motion to approve FY18 Annual Urban Renewal Report, seconded by Borland, all ayes, motion carried.
Bowman made a motion to approve FY18 Annual Financial Report, seconded by Ramsey, all ayes, motion carried.
Ramsey made a motion to approve next council meeting for November 13, 2018 due to Veteran's Day, seconded by Custer, all ayes, motion carried.
Custer made a motion to approve Resolution 18-35 Regarding Certificate of Deposits, seconded by Vogel, all ayes, motion carried.
Vogel made a motion to approve Resolution 18-36 to Establish Grade II Wastewater Operator Agreement with the City of Bedford, seconded by Ramsey, all ayes, motion carried.
Deputy Calfee was present for the Sheriff's Department.
Ramsey moved to adjourn the meeting, Bowman seconded, all ayes, motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 5:55 P.M.
