City Council Regular Meeting Minutes

A regular meeting of the Lenox City Council was called to order by Mayor Douglas on October 8, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall with the following council members answering roll call: Bowman, Ramsey, Custer; Vogel and Borland were absent at this time. Staff present was City Administrator, Allison Kitzman and City Clerk, Dawne Bowman. Other visitors were Colleen Larimer.

Bowman made a motion to approve the agenda, seconded by Custer, all ayes, motion carried.

Bowman made a motion to approve 9/24/18 meeting minutes, seconded by Ramsey, all ayes, motion carried. Custer made a motion to approve the payment of the bills, seconded by Bowman, all ayes, motion carried.

Borland entered the meeting at 5:36 PM.

Bowman made a motion to approve golf purchase of JD Z390M Z-Trak mower in the amount of $3,599.00, seconded by Ramsey; Custer abstained, motion carried.

Bowman made a motion to approve Pay Request #12 to CL Carroll for WWTP in the amount of $124,450.00, seconded by Ramsey, all ayes, motion carried.

Custer made a motion to approve CDBG Draw Request #13 in the amount of $24,143.00, seconded by Ramsey, all ayes, motion carried.

Custer made a motion to approve SRF Draw Request #12 in the amount of $100,307.00, seconded by Bowman, all ayes, motion carried.

Ramsey made a motion to approve Pay Request #3 to Bluffs Paving for the Walking Trail project in the amount of $114,866.52, seconded by Bowman, all ayes, motion carried.

Custer made a motion to approve Snyder and Associates Engineering Agreement for Storm water Runoff Project for the school, not to exceed $6,600.00, seconded by Ramsey, all ayes, motion carried.

Borland made a motion to approve Becky Smith to Library Board to fill unexpired term ending July 2023, seconded by Ramsey, all ayes, motion carried.

Ramsey moved to adjourn the meeting, Custer seconded, all ayes, motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 5:45 P.M.
