CITY OF LENOX

A special meeting of the Lenox City Council was called to order by Mayor Douglas on January 16, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall with the following council members answering roll call: Bowman, Adams, Vogel, Borland and Custer. Staff present included City Administrator, Allison Kitzman and City Clerk, Dawne Bowman.

Adams made a motion to approve the agenda, seconded by Vogel, all aye, motion carried.

At 5:30 PM a Public Hearing was held for Precious People Learning Center CDBG Grant application. Due to inclement weather, Jeremy Rounds, with SICOG was unable to be present; however, Kitzman read statements to validate the grant application. This grant would be used for renovations to the building and would not require any city funds. There were no comments heard from the public and at 5:37 Adams made a motion to approve the CDBG Grant application for Precious People Learning Center and close the Public Hearing, seconded by Bowman. Roll call votes- all ayes, motion carried.

Custer made a motion to approve John Beran to the Library Board to fill unexpired term, expiring in July 2019, seconded by Borland, all aye, motion carried.

Vogel made a motion to approve Reds Masonry to remove brick from south wall of City Hall in amount $500, seconded by Borland, all aye, motion carried.

Adams moved to adjourn the meeting, Borland seconded, all ayes, motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 5:45 P.M.
