CITY OF LENOX

A special meeting of the Lenox City Council was called to order by Mayor Douglas on May 31, 2016 at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall with the following council members answering roll call: Bowman, Adams, Vogel, and Custer. Staff present was City Administrator, Allison Kitzman.

Bowman made a motion to approve the agenda, seconded by Custer, all aye, motion carried.

Kitzman discussed the information that is provided in the presentation for the public forum on City Hall repairs to be held on June 1st.

Borland attended the meeting at 5:35 p.m.

Kitzman discussed that there is a survey that will be handed out at the public forum but for everyone that cannot attend the public forum there will be copies at City Hall that can be picked up and filled out at any time.

Kitzman then discussed the city financials and how the city would pay for any repairs or the purchasing of another location. Bowman expressed concern about having to increase property taxes for this project. Kitzman agreed that the main goal is to figure out a way to make this work without raising taxes.

Douglas stated that she would introduce all council members at the public forum and Kitzman will open the meeting with an introduction and Vogel will present the information to the public. All council members, with the exception of Borland, will be present to field any questions from the public.

Adams moved to adjourn the meeting, Custer seconded, all ayes, motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 6:35 P.M.
