CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES

March 23, 2026 5:30 p.m. City Hall

A regular meeting of the Lenox City Council was called to order by Mayor Douglas on March 23, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall with the following council members answering roll call: Peterson, Huffman, Tull, Hodges and Beck. Staff present was City Administrator, Allison Kitzman and City Clerk, Dawne Bowman. Visitors at the meeting were Colleen Larimer and George Pryor.

Tull made a motion to approve the agenda, seconded by Hodges, all ayes, motion carried.

Peterson made a motion to approve correction on 2/23/26 meeting minutes, as it should have been 2/24/26 meeting minutes that were approved at the previous meeting, seconded by Hodges, all ayes, motion carried. Tull made a motion to approve 3/9/26 regular meeting minutes, seconded by Beck, all ayes, motion carried. Hodges made a motion to approve payment of the bills, seconded by Huffman, all ayes, motion carried.

Tull made a motion to approve Resolution 26-07 Authorizing the Execution of an Amendment to Its Gas Supply Agreement with PEFA, Inc. in Connection with the Reset of the Available Discount in PEFA, Inc.'s Gas Prepayment Project; Approving the Issuance of Bonds by PEFA, Inc.; and Related Matters, seconded by Peterson, all ayes, motion carried.

Peterson made a motion to approve Lenox Three Lakes Link-Side, LLC Class C Retail Alcohol License with Outdoor Service, seconded by Hodges, all ayes, motion carried.

Tull made a motion to approve Resolution 26-08 Setting Date and Time of April 13, 2026 at 5:30 PM for Public Hearing for FY27 City Budget Adoption, seconded by Huffman, all ayes, motion carried.

Kitzman shared a presentation of FY27 City Budget with the council, which included new laws pertaining to rollbacks, how those rollbacks affect the City budget and reviewed tax valuations for surrounding areas. There was also a discussion on upcoming budget items for FY27.

Tull motioned to adjourn the meeting, Peterson seconded, all ayes, motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 6:05 PM.
