CITY OF LENOX

A regular meeting of the Lenox City Council was called to order by Mayor Douglas on February 24, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall with the following council members answering roll call: Peterson, Huffman, Tull and Hodges. Staff present was City Administrator, Allison Kitzman and City Clerk, Dawne Bowman. Visitors at the meeting were Colleen Larimer and Staci Beck[cite: 13].

Peterson made a motion to approve the agenda, seconded by Tull, all ayes, motion carried[cite: 13]. Hodges made a motion to approve 2/9/26 regular meeting minutes, seconded by Peterson, all ayes, motion carried[cite: 13]. Tull made a motion to approve payment of the 2/24/26 bills, seconded by Hodges, all ayes, motion carried[cite: 13].

Peterson made a motion to approve Special Even Permit Application for Old Fashioned Fun Night on July 22, 2026, seconded by Peterson, all ayes, motion carried[cite: 13].

Tull made a motion to approve Special Event Permit Application for Pocket Park Markets on June 6, July 11 and August 29, 2026 seconded by Hodges, all ayes, motion carried[cite: 13].

There was 1 Council Vacancy Application received[cite: 13]. Peterson made a motion to approve the appointment of New Council Member, Staci Beck to fill Vacancy with term ending 12/31/2027, seconded by Tull, all ayes, motion carried[cite: 13].

Peterson made a motion to approve Resolution 26-05 Setting Public Hearing on Proposed Property Tax Levy Rate for 3/23/26 at 5:15PM, seconded by Hodges[cite: 13]. Roll call votes-all ayes, motion carried[cite: 13].

Tull motioned to adjourn the meeting, Hodges seconded, all ayes, motion carried[cite: 13]. Meeting adjourned at 5:40 PM[cite: 13].
